The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about their peers chosen books to read and many have contributed their pre-read favourites to our class library.<\/p>\n

P6a\u2019s new IDL topic is the Victorians and our class novel \u2018Street Child\u2019 by Bernie Doherty explores life in this era in a variety of contexts and through the life of a child. We have used the book to skim and scan for key information and the children particularly enjoy the novel being read to them by myself.<\/p>\n

To qoute Dr. Seuss \u201cThe more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you\u2019ll go\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
