The children enjoyed their morning at Arthurlie House and learned some really important things about their physical and mental wellbeing. They also received praise and compliments from those who ran it due to their respectful and enthusuastic approach.

James and Vidhi have made such amazing progress since we began our Bikeability lessons. We’re so proud of them!
We are demonstrating such fabulous attitudes to learning in P6b! We try to be resilient and persevere when faced with challenges. When we complete the Kerplunk game we will receive a class reward!
This week’s Star of the Week in P6b is Natasha! Natasha works really hard to have a positive attitude in class. Her classmates have written some lovely comments for her!
Last week we began our Bikeability sessions. We will be working on our skills in the playground for another two sessions before starting to apply our skills on a quiet road near the school. The boys and girls worked incredibly hard!
Matthew was last week’s Star of the Week in P6b. His contributions to class discussions just get better and better. What an amazing general knowledge!Have a read at what his classmates have said.
Fairtrade Fortnight begins on Monday 25th February and finishes on March 10th.
All pupils have been provided a homework task for this week.
P1 – P3 have a Fairtrade Passport.
P4-5 are to design a Fairtrade chocolate bar.
P6-7 are to create a 3D Fairtrade chocolate box.
The Fairtrade Committee will be presenting at an assembly the following week.
Finally Primary 2 will be hosting a Fairtrade coffee morning on the 8th March at 10am. Everyone is welcome to attend and we would be very grateful for any baking on this date.

We had so much fun taking part in this Euro Quiz yesterday. It was challenging and difficult but we learned a lot of interesting facts and new skills during the preparation for the quiz. There were 4 rounds and 55 questions in total and we came 8th out of 15 teams. In March we will have our own class euro quiz and we are so excited for it!
