Last week P7 done their solo talks for Articulate

P7 had a good day at Shoenstatt yesterday.

P7 had a great day up at St. Luke’s High School.

They participated in 4 workshops with various activities and experiments.

Workshop 1 – Examine the blood

Workshop 2 – Crime Scene

Workshop 3 – The nasty note

Workshop 4 – Extract the DNA

P7 used Prime Numbers to decode the pattern.We also had to detangle letters  to create a word about Nature.

Today p7b had fun going outside and learning all about sequences. Some of us even used some fibonacci to create great sequences.          Well done p7.       By Francesca and Marc 

P7b enjoyed their outdoor maths challenges.

They worked hard to create patterns, 3D shapes, arrays, bar graphs and measuring natural objects.

This week we have been focusing on punctuating using direct speech to engage the reader.

We learned  to open and close speech, include punctuation in speech marks, we used a range on synonyms for said and included new lines for new speakers.

P7 would like to invite their parents and carers to join them on 26th March following their USA showcase for a morning tea.  We are raising money for Missio and there will be donation boxes around the tables to help the children raise money for their chosen Confirmation Charity.
