Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made our last Sports Day so much fun!
As part of our ‘Last Wild’ topic and Global Goals learning, P7A are working on a project in which they will design a floating garden. As part of the project, they will be building models of their designs using recyclable materials. If anyone would be able to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for cardboard boxes, milk bottles, yoghurt pots etc. Children can bring the materials into class any day between now and next Wednesday 14th June.
Many thanks in advance.
Thank you to the staff of St Luke’s Numeracy department for visiting us today. P7a really enjoyed to earning about cyphers and are looking forward to more maths lessons during the transition visit next week.
As part of our new natural disasters topic we have been learning about the four layers of the earth. This afternoon we presented findings from our research on each layer. We learned lots of interesting facts!
Mrs McIntyre has been working with P7 to do some ARTiculate. Combining Art with Talking, Listening and Writing skills, the class have been loving researching the artwork of war artists such as Paul Nash and Laura Knight. We can’t wait to see where our ARTiculate sessions will take us!
Welcome back to a new term at St Mark’s! This is a busy term for P7 full of exciting experiences and opportunities for the class as they get ready for starting secondary in August.
This term, there have been some changes to the timetable: P.E. will now be on Tuesdays and Fridays. Children should come to school on those days wearing their P.E. kits: yellow polo shirts, plain black leggings/ tracksuit bottoms or shorts and black trainers.
Many thanks to St Luke’s staff who took the time to visit us and show us what our secondary uniform will look like. Thanks too to our glamorous models!
This week, P7 were invited to attend a football event at St Luke’s High School as part of their transition to secondary. The kids had brilliant fun and enjoyed getting to spend time with St Luke’s students and staff.
Thank you to the parents who joined us in our learning yesterday afternoon. We loved having you!
