Some photos of the painting process of our paper mache planets and then the finished result! Here we are displaying our group solar system planet models in order from closest to farthest from the sun!

Here are some pictures from our last 3 Science lessons. We have used a relative scale to plot and measure planets of the Solar System to show the difference in distance from each planet to the sun. We also made paper mache planets to represent the relative scale of each planet. We have been investigating craters and the impact that the size of a meteor makes to the size of a crater.

This week is Book Week Scotland and P7b have been bringing in their books from home and enjoying time in class to read :-)!

Throughout the week we have been collecting bottles for outdoor learning to be able to make a water wall.This can track how much rain there is.We will all be checking on these weekly.This shows with just bottles can be very useful and fun to craft with.We can all reuse bottles and make something useful with them.

P7b had a great time den building with loose parts for Outdoor Classroom Day!

Some of our pupils decided to have a trading stall so that others could switch materials.

P7 worked in groups and gathered natural materials from the playground and then used these  create animals. 

In Maths we have been working in small groups to make models of 3D objects. This has helped us to identify the number of vertices and edges each shape has.
