We have been using concrete materials to show the value of each figure in numbers up to 2000.
We have been telling the time at quarter to, quarter past, half past and o’clock. We have been using analogue clocks and digital clocks.

We had a special visitor in P3b today.
He left a special letter and decorations for the class.
We decided to write a thank you letter for our Elf.
We created a bar graph to display our class votes for our Elf’s name. The class voted for… Buddy!
We analysed our data by answering questions such as “What is the difference between the most votes and least?”
As it’s the first of December we are getting ready for Christmas by using the Mini Vinnie’s Advent Calender to do something kind every day.

Inspired by the picture book Jeremy Worried About the Wind we discussed our worries .We played a mirror game where we told our partners our worries and they drew them in a worry bubble and used adjectives to describe them.
The boys and girls have been displaying lots of numeracy skills on the working wall this week!
The boys and girls are demonstrating determination to solve numeracy problems. We have explored number buddies to 10, patterns and quick mental strategies to add and subtract 9. Keep up the hard work boys and girls!
