At forest school we made some mud paint using mud and water.
Then we made our own forest paint brushes with leaves we found on the ground.
Take a look at our amazing art work!

We have had such a busy week back at school. Lots of time to catch up and get settled back into our learning.
We also got out to play in the snow on Friday!
We got a special treat at forest school – hot chocolate! Yum!
Cheers!
Mrs Carwood taught us all about fire and fire safety.
Fire needs fuel, heat and oxygen to survive. If we remove one of these, the fire will go out.
At forest school, Mrs Carwood was teaching us how to safely use a bow saw.
We knelt down carefully and slowly moved the saw back and forth to cut pieces of log.
We wore a glove to protect our hand.
We used the log slices to create some art to take home!
We also enjoyed playing on the forest rope swing.
We are getting better and better at taking turns and helping each other on to the swing.
Forest school is full of lots of interesting things waiting to be found.
We all love forest school!
Mrs Carwood put up a shelter for us at forest school! We had so much fun playing and dancing under the tarpaulin.
We found some more worms too! We used a measuring tape to see how long they were. The longest worm we found was massive – 16cm!
We had so much fun during loose parts play on outdoor learning day!
We spent some time in the playground exploring all the different items to play with.
The chalk was messy but we loved creating lots of different pictures!
We even decorated the wall to give it a bit of colour.
We love to build dens using tarpaulin and big clips.
At forest school we love the freedom to get muddy and play in the leaves.
Nature is so much fun!
We joined together with P2a to learn how to keep our teeth strong and healthy!
We know that we must brush our teeth twice a day for 2 minutes.
Remember those teeth all the way at the back!
We have been learning about different shapes in numeracy.
We went on a shape hunt around the classroom and found lots of circles, squares, rectangles and ovals. It was extra tricky to find a hexagon but we found one at the end of our pencils!
