Congratulations boys for showing a growth mindset in your learning this week and receiving a certificate at this morning assembly for your efforts 👏 .
We were so lucky to have a special visitor in today to speak about diabetes and answer our interesting questions.
We have been learning to measure in centimetres and meters. We have also been estimating the size of classroom objects. You can keep measuring with your ruler at home or your special measuring tape coming this week!
We learned about knifes. We taught different knotted to our partners.
Inspired by Jeremy Worried About the Wind we created our own weather reports. We use the Green Screen App to transform ourselves to a TV studio. The boys and girls were very good at creating their own script and then taking on the role of a weather reporter.
During the month of November we started to learn about the joyful mysteries of the Rosary. One of our targets this week was to retell The Annunciation and order the story cards. Lots of boys and girls have already ticked this off their list this week and retold the Bible story well.
Dear Parents and Careers,
Please remember our Read, Write and Count Event is on Thursday 17th November at 2pm in the Gym Hall. All welcome! Come and join in some activities with your child.
Thank you!
Inspired by the book Jeremy Worried About the Wind we made worry monsters and the boys and girls have loved posting their worries. They said it helps them forget about them and relax!
We have also been learning about alliterations and trying to create our own!
