It’s been a busy couple of days in Primary 5b.
We’ve quickly settled into our classroom and are starting to get in to our every day routines.
Monday and Wednesday are our PE days. Friday is our outdoor learning day.
Goodbye Primary 4! This year has been a blast.
Check out Google Classroom for a video blast from the past 🙂
The children in Primary 4b had a great fun day today:)
We started the day with some drama. We read through our Helicopter stories from Primary 1 and acted them out. It was great fun to read stories from our first year in school.
The inflatables and ice-cream truck were a hit!
We finished the day off with a games afternoon.
Primary 4 enjoyed participating in Sports Day today 🙂
We were lucky today to be visited by the Rights Respecting Group who delivered an input on Refugee Week 2024.
Primary 4b thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a mini Euros tournament on Friday!
Today Primary 4b worked in groups to create the complication part of their story. I was so impressed with the collaboration in each group and adventurous language used in their writing. I am really looking forward to reading the resolutions!
Primary 4b worked with a partner today to identify verbs and sort sentences into past, present or future tense.
To conclude our recent class topic ‘Global Goal 15: Life on Land’, the children have been busy creating habitats out of cardboard using the make-do kits and then decorating with paint. They are now currently in the process of creating scripts which will be used when they create their stop motion films to inform others about each habitat.
Continuing on with the Euro 2024 theme, today we looked at the language of probability in Maths. Whilst most people could agree on impossible, likely or certain events, there were a few tense conversations about the probability of Scotland winning the Euros!
