Over the last few weeks we have been learning all about the components of an electrical circuit and today we made our own.

 

Over the last few weeks we have been learning all about inherited characteristics in animals and humans. We had great fun using mirrors to look and see the colour of our hair and eyes and the shape of our ears. We also enjoyed seeing if we could twirl our tongues.

Yesterday we investigated how germs spread by conducting an investigation in the play ground with glitter to see just how far germs can spread.

 

Last week we were investigating what causes germs to spread viruses and bacteria. We loved using the ultra violet light to see how washing our hands with soap can stop the spread of germs. 

This week we have been learning about food chains and how to label them with the words “producer and consumer”

Today we were investigating living and non living things. We took our learning outdoors and then learned all about the things that living things need to survive.
