Social Studies

Thank you to Farah-Rose for presenting her research on the Amazon Rainforest!

This week we have been learning about tribes in the rainforest.  We also made musical instruments, rain sticks to transport ourselves to the rainforest! Thank you to all our families who donated materials to make this happen!

Exploring the Rainforest

This week we have been learning more about the rainforest!

Emily presented an excellent poster she made at home to teach us all about sloths.

We learned lots about the layers of the rainforest and this afternoon we made the layers! I am sure you’ll agree the boys and girls did an excellent job to build a model of the rainforest together!

“We drew pictures of Toucans.” Dakota

“Toucans live in the canopy.” Milla

“Toucans’ beaks are the same size as their body and they are hollow so they are not heavy”. Isla
