Pupils from P6a and P6c were making posters for Netherlee Primary School’s Production of Disney’s Aladdin Jnr. They were looking at posters of other shows for inspiration. We took photos of the making of the posters. Some people were using computers for references to put on their posters. There were some Islamic patterns used because they look like the magic carpet. The people making the posters tried to make the design simple but still look good. The posters looked very nice with the Islamic patterns. Some people drew the main characters on their posters also some people drew the lamp and the genie and used some key colours to represent different objects like gold for the lamp and a yellowish brown for sand. Mr Bryce printed out Aladdin Jnr signs and people were tracing them to get the logo on their posters. They used coloured pens and pencils to brighten up their posters. They discussed different techniques and coulors for their posters. Everyone was working hard and having fun.
