Upcoming Events World Book Day <\/strong>International School Meal Day – Menu Change: Thursday 12th<\/sup> March Celebrating Children\u2019s Achievements Any out of school and any in-school achievements will now be displayed proudly on our lovely new House display boards. Please drop by to have a look any time you are in school, these are located in the link corridor leading off the atrium. These achievements can be big or small as we recognise that even what may appear as a small achievement to one person can be a huge success to another e.g. Learning to ride a bike or gaining a badge at swimming.\u00a0In order to submit the information about your child\u2019s out of school achievements,<\/strong> please complete the Google Form using the link below.\u00a0 Please note <\/strong>the link will feature each week in our Friday <\/strong>newsletter and you are welcome to send in achievements at any time.<\/p>\n Achievements Outside of School Google Form<\/a><\/p>\n <\/u>No photographs are required. \n<\/strong>The 5th<\/sup> of March was an amazing day for Netherlee this year \u2013 \u201cWorld Book Day\u201d brought out the best in storytelling, shared reading, shared books and wonderful costumes from both pupils and staff. Everybody was talking about books and a real \u2018loving literacy\u2019 feeling permeated the school. Thank you to everyone for taking an active part in the day whether it was reading books, talking about books or listening to stories from books it was a great success.<\/p>\n

The allergy information is included to enable your child to select a suitable option.\u00a0 However, if you require further allergy or dietary information, please contact your catering team via the school office. If you have completed a lifestyle meal request form a suitable alternative will be provided. For any pupils requiring a milk free diet the option will be Teriyaki Chicken Panini with dairy free cheese replacing the Mozzarella.<\/p>\n

Part of the workshop will allow the children to taste maple syrup with apple slices. \n<\/strong>In Primary 5, we are going to have the opportunity to create a model cabin in a small box for our big question on Titanic.\u00a0 This task will be completed in school.\u00a0 If possible, we kindly ask that you bring into class a shoe, or similarly sized, box. Furthermore, you might want to collect some items that you can use to decorate the interior of your cabin, such as materials\/fabrics, wallpaper, dolls house furniture, pictures, bits of carpet etc. Remember the resources you will need must be appropriate to the class of cabin that you are creating. We ask that you please hand in your shoebox by Friday 27th March.\u00a0 If you want to bring it in earlier, we can store them in the classroom.\u00a0Thank you very much for your help with this.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>A reminder that tickets for The Lion King will be available via ParentPay from 9th<\/sup> March at 9am.\u00a0 Due to Health and Safety capacity regulations, at the initial sale each family will be able to purchase two tickets, priced at \u00a33 each for only one performance.\u00a0 When purchasing the tickets on Parent Pay, please detail in the notes section which performance you are looking to attend: Monday 27th<\/sup> April at 10am; Monday 27th<\/sup> April at 7pm or Tuesday 28th<\/sup> April at 7pm.<\/p>\n
