Everybody was talking about books and a real \u2018loving literacy\u2019 feeling permeated the school. Thank you to everyone for taking an active part in the day whether it was reading books, talking about books or listening to stories from books it was a great success.<strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>International School Meal Day &#8211; Menu Change: Thursday 12<sup>th<\/sup> March<br \/>\n<\/strong>Please find attached our planned menu change for next Thursday 26th February. The allergy information is included to enable your child to select a suitable option.\u00a0 However, if you require further allergy or dietary information, please contact your catering team via the school office. If you have completed a lifestyle meal request form a suitable alternative will be provided. For any pupils requiring a milk free diet the option will be Teriyaki Chicken Panini with dairy free cheese replacing the Mozzarella.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Celebrating Children\u2019s Achievements<br \/>\n<\/strong>We always enjoy celebrating our children\u2019s achievements, both in and out of school however, this session, we are making some changes to this process after speaking to groups of children and getting feedback from them.<\/p>\n<p>Any out of school and any in-school achievements will now be displayed proudly on our lovely new House display boards. Please drop by to have a look any time you are in school, these are located in the link corridor leading off the atrium. These achievements can be big or small as we recognise that even what may appear as a small achievement to one person can be a huge success to another e.g. Learning to ride a bike or gaining a badge at swimming.\u00a0In order to submit the information about your child\u2019s <strong>out of school achievements,<\/strong> please complete the Google Form using the link below.\u00a0 <strong>Please note <\/strong><strong>the link will feature each week in our Friday <\/strong>newsletter and you are welcome to send in achievements at any time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/DMAmxTYHS8CCa2tu9\">Achievements Outside of School Google Form<\/a><u><\/p>\n<p><\/u>No photographs are required. This will take place on Friday 13 March from 11am until 12.30pm in the Hub. Part of the workshop will allow the children to taste maple syrup with apple slices. Furthermore, you might want to collect some items that you can use to decorate the interior of your cabin, such as materials\/fabrics, wallpaper, dolls house furniture, pictures, bits of carpet etc. Remember the resources you will need must be appropriate to the class of cabin that you are creating. We ask that you please hand in your shoebox by Friday 27th March.\u00a0 If you want to bring it in earlier, we can store them in the classroom.\u00a0Thank you very much for your help with this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>P5b P.E. Any enquiries please contact <a href=\"mailto:instrumentalmusicservice@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk\">instrumentalmusicservice@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>P7 Transition Evening \u2013 Tuesday 17<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/strong><br \/>\nA letter was sent to parents regarding a transition evening for parents at Williamwood on the 17<sup>th<\/sup> March.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary 7: Show Tickets<br \/>\n<\/strong>A reminder that tickets for The Lion King will be available via ParentPay from 9<sup>th<\/sup> March at 9am.\u00a0 Due to Health and Safety capacity regulations, at the initial sale each family will be able to purchase two tickets, priced at \u00a33 each for only one performance.\u00a0 When purchasing the tickets on Parent Pay, please detail in the notes section which performance you are looking to attend: Monday 27<sup>th<\/sup> April at 10am; Monday 27<sup>th<\/sup> April at 7pm or Tuesday 28<sup>th<\/sup> April at 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>After this initial sale of tickets, we will let you know if there are any remaining tickets.
