Upcoming Events Winter Fayre Stalls Planned Menu Change \u2013 Friday 31st<\/sup> October<\/strong> Feedback Friday Absence Information<\/strong> Book Sale Reminder<\/strong> Bikeability Help \u201cThe training was excellent and gave me the knowledge and confidence to be able to plan and deliver sessions right away\u2026 We received lots of fun games and helpful tips and it was great to be able to refer back to these.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cCycling is such an important life skill\u2026 it was super rewarding delivering these sessions. The children always have a great time and are very enthusiastic and respectful.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/em>The training will be on Wednesday 3rd<\/sup> December and Friday 5th December 9am-12.30pm<\/strong> at Carolside Primary.<\/p>\n Participants are required to attend both mornings and it covers Level 1 playground training and Level 2 on road training. The course is a mix of theory and practical so those attending will need access to a bike and helmet.<\/p>\n If you would like to attend the training or would like more information please email Mr Bryce. An information flyer can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Celebrating Children\u2019s Achievements Any out of school and any in-school achievements will now be displayed proudly on our lovely new House display boards. Please drop by to have a look any time you are in school, these are located in the link corridor leading off the atrium. These achievements can be big or small as we recognise that even what may appear as a small achievement to one person can be a huge success to another e.g. Learning to ride a bike or gaining a badge at swimming.\u00a0In order to submit the information about your child\u2019s out of school achievements,<\/strong> please complete the Google Form using the link below.\u00a0 Please note <\/strong>the link will feature each week in our Friday <\/strong>newsletter and you are welcome to send in achievements at any time.<\/p>\n Achievements Outside of School Google Form<\/a><\/p>\n <\/u>No photographs are required. \n<\/strong>We will be holding our annual Winter Fayre on Thursday 20th<\/sup> November, 6.30pm-8.00pm. If you, or someone you know, would like to reserve a stall at the fayre please email or call the school office to book a place. Stalls are \u00a315, payable on the night. As well as being a fantastic, fun, community event, the Winter Fayre allows us to raise funds for our school and nursery funds. These are used to buy lots of additional resources for the school and nursery eg the development of our outdoor spaces and playground games and toys.<\/p>\n
\nPlease find attached<\/a> our planned menu change for Halloween on Friday 31st<\/sup> October. The allergy information is included to enable your child to select a suitable option.\u00a0 However, if you require further allergy or dietary information, please contact your catering team via the school office. If you have completed a lifestyle meal request form a suitable alternative will be provided.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Just a reminder that on Friday, it is Feedback Friday. Can all home learning jotters\/project work please be brought into school with your child on Friday.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Bikeability Scotland will be delivering training for anyone that would like to become a volunteer and help us deliver cycle training. Feedback from other parents that have undertaken this training and now help with Bikeability in school is very positive.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>We always enjoy celebrating our children\u2019s achievements, both in and out of school however, this session, we are making some changes to this process after speaking to groups of children and getting feedback from them.<\/p>\n

\nThere is a slight change to the PE timetable for P6b. Tuesday will be indoor PE and Friday will be outdoor PE. Please send your child to school dressed in appropriate PE uniform on those days. Many thanks.<\/p>\n
