We really appreciate it!

Personal toys during playtime and lunchtime eg cards, small animals or figures
We understand that some children enjoy bringing small items from home to play with outdoors during break and lunchtime. However, these can sometimes lead to disagreements or fallouts, which may continue into the classroom. In addition to this, precious toys can get accidentally broken too. As a staff team, we have agreed that if children wish to bring in cards or small toys to play with outdoors, they are welcome to do so on Fridays only. However, I would like to stress that this is entirely optional. Many of our children are really creative at making up their own games and also love playing traditional activities such as TIG. We actively encourage this kind of play. In addition, all playgrounds are equipped with ropes, hoops and balance boards for the children to enjoy too. Thank you very much for your support.

Mobile Phone Use in Schools Survey
East Renfrewshire Council are gathering the views of pupils, staff, parents and carers on the use of mobile phones in school.
