\n<\/strong>On the morning of Thursday 21st<\/sup> December, P4-7 will attend Netherlee Church for a Christmas Service. As space is limited within the church, unfortunately, we will only be able to accommodate two family members from the children who are reading, performing in the choir or playing their instrument<\/strong>. Separate information has been sent to these families already, please only attend the service if you have received confirmation that your child will be performing. The service will be recorded and a link to the recording will be emailed out as soon as possible afterwards. We hope that you are not too disappointed with these restrictions. If you would prefer your child not to attend for religious reasons, please email the school office by Monday 18th<\/sup> December.\u00a0 For safety reasons, we cannot accommodate any further withdrawal requests on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

\nA reminder of the party dates for children are detailed below.\u00a0\u00a0 On your child\u2019s party day, your child can \u2018dress as they please\u2019 (no football colours please) and also bring a small snack with them if they would like to- entirely optional. Please see all of the party dates below.<\/p>\n

\nIn the new year, we will be opening up our school library once a month to our wider school and nursery community. On Thursday 18th January from 3.15-4.00pm our library will be open to our families. Our first library \u2018pop up\u2019 will have a focus on sharing our English as an Additional Language texts. We will have our diverse collection of reading texts available for you to enjoy with your child (ren). You are welcome to read with your child in the library at this time or take a reading text out on loan. There will be a small collection of adult texts to choose from too! Mrs Pollock, Mrs Ford and some of our P7 librarians will be on hand there to help you and to serve a wee selection of food, juice and teas\/coffees too! We hope you can make it along to our first pop up and across the year we will have different monthly pop ups including focuses on authors such as Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson and Scottish authors. If you are interested, then please come to the main school entrance as close to 3.15pm on Thursday 18th January from 3.15-4.00pm <\/strong>and we can take you to our library.<\/p>\n
\nThere are some unclaimed prizes from the Winter Fayre last week.\u00a0 If you have any of the winning tickets below, please bring your ticket to the school office to collect you prize.\u00a0 Winning numbers: 103, 131, 151, 160, 162, 203, 214, 232, 251, 259, 270, 287, 307, 321, 343, 355, 358, 381, 425, 461, 487 and 511.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>School will close slightly earlier than usual on this day. P1 and P2 will finish at 2.25pm and P3-7 will finish at 2.30pm.
