Dashing Disco!!!!!

On Tuesday 26th January Netherlee Primary School had an outstanding winter disco for the Primary 6 and 7 pupils. This disco was very fun because there was an epic DJ and he played good songs and fun games!!! It was fabulous because we got to spend more time with our friends and we also got to meet new people and play with them. We all enjoyed the disco because everyone was friendly and all the helpers that worked there included everyone.

Winter Wonderland Trees

Recently, Primary 6c have been learning about art techniques. We drew our own unique winter trees. To do this we went outside into the P 2 – 5 playground to get inspiration from natural winter trees.  The stationary we used  were the following: sharp pencils, charcoal and blue a4 paper. We had to try and draw exactly what we saw. It was important that the tree branches became slimmer the higher up the tree.

Next, we added white paint onto the tips of our branches. To do this we had to be very delicate with our paintbrush strokes. After that we sprayed some paint on to make a snowy effect. Finally we added some pink and green glitter for the finishing touches. Overall we really enjoyed this task!
