Watching Tim Peake’s rocket launch!

On Tuesday  15th  December Primary 6 watched Tim Peake’s rocket lift off. When they were ready to blast off to the ISS it was really nerve wracking because we were terrified that something was going to go wrong. Luckily the journey was extremely successful as they have reached there destination.

We enjoyed watching the clip of the lift off, as it was very fun to watch. He is the first male British person to go to the ISS so it is an important occassion. We can’t wait till we get the result of our rocket seeds, and we also can’t wait till Tim Peake arrives back in the UK.

The Spectacular Sock Snowman Stall!

IMG_0563 (2)On Tuesday 8th December, Netherlee Primary School held a Christmas Fayre. P6c held a stall selling snowmen made out of socks. We called the stall “The Spectacular Sock Snowman Stall”. We were raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. In total we raised an amazing £85!

They sold out extremely quickly because everyone thought they were adorable. We split the snowmen into three groups. The first one was the small one, then there was the medium and last there was the large. The small one were £2.00, medium £2.50 and the large £3.00.

This is the link on how to make the sock snowmen.
