Primary Six receive weekly homework which is noted in their homework diaries. We have an emphasis on children becoming more independent as they move into upper school and would encourage children to take more responsibility over their own homework.

Below is a note of the common homework tasks which are issued from week to week.
Please note that these may vary some weeks due to holidays, class trips, etc. Any changes will be noted in each child’s homework diary.

• Monday
  – Spelling – First 5 words and 2 sentences.
  – Mental Maths
• Tuesday
  – Spelling – Second 5 words and 2 sentences.
  – Mental Maths
• Wednesday
  – Spelling – Alphabetical Order of all ten words.
  – Mental Maths
• Thursday
  – Spelling – dictionary work using 5 words.
  – Mental Maths
• Friday
  – Weekly Maths or Language homework due in.

Research
Research is handed out every two weeks.

P.E
Our P.E Days are Monday, Thursday and Friday. Please make sure (or encourage) your child to bring their P.E kit on these days.
I would appreciate if all P.E kits could be named as ensure that no shoes, tops, etc. go astray!
