Team work, Problem Solving and Science continues right to the end in P6! Today the children worked in groups to design, build and use a bridge or raft using art straws or lollipop sticks.
Learners had to budget resources and work together!
Well done P6!
Primary Six have been studying friction in Science. They used a Force-metre to measure the force needed to drag a shoe along different surfaces. We looked at how many newtons it would be to drag shoes along surfaces such as sandpaper, grass, concrete, wood and a table top.
Primary 6 have started developing their sketching skills with Mr McLure this week! They used mirrors to look closely at their faces and then used ink to create some fantastic images. Have a look at these amazing portraits.
Welcome to our Primary 6 blog! We’ll use this blog to share some of the work that we do in class. Our PE days are Wednesday and Friday, please make sure you come in changed for gym and wear waterproofs to keep dry on rainy days!
Our homework is all on a Google Classroom. It would be great if children could take photos of their work and ‘hand it in’ online as it means that everyone is comfortable with this process. Let us know if you have any difficulty doing this.
We’re very excited about working with the class this year!
