During Maths Week we designed our own games based on a Numeracy concept we have been learning about. Once we created our games we took time to teach each other how to play. It was great fun.

Today we were very excited to see the return of Fitness Friday. We went out in the sun and kept active at different stations. We played chaos tig, ran relay races and joined in with some zumba with Miss Morgan. We had great fun.
As it was Fitness Friday we decided to take our learning outdoors. We played some games to consolidate our learning in french.
We have been practising our 3 times table this week. Can you test us at home?
This week some boys and girls have been very busy testing out their engineering skills; constructing, building, balancing, problem solving! They successfully designed and created some wonderful structures and bridges.
This week we were very excited about the start of skills academy. Our day for skills academy is a Thursday, please come prepared with a tub if you are cooking or waterproofs if you are in the community group.
We have also been very busy in class with our zones. Ask us about our pictures.
This week Jason, Saibah and Jan asked to share news and personal items with their peers. It is so lovely to see the children build their confidence in speaking infront of a larger audience. Well done!
Congratulations to Sheldon for achieving our Star of the Week award. He worked really hard on his targets this week and was very supportive to his peers. Great work Sheldon.
Today we had our first music lesson with Mrs Carey. It was great fun. We sang two new songs and learned how to keep a steady beat.
Another week full of team work, problem solving, inquiry and cooperation at our zones.
