Vegetable Crudités and dip!

Last Friday, we continued our exploration of healthy foods and talked about challenging ourselves to try new things! We discussed vegetables we liked, vegetables we didn’t like and talked about the worse thing that would happen if we ate something we didn’t like! Lots of hilarious answers. In the end, we all decided that trying new foods was a good thing and our bodies and taste buds would thank us.

It was great to see so many of the children challenging themselves and trying new veggies OR eating vegetables they thought they hated but realised they weren’t actually that bad!

Dinosaurs 🦕 🦖

This morning we joined a digital school session on dinosaurs. Fiona from the National Museum of Scotland asked us questions and showed us some amazing fossils. From T-Rex teeth to dinosaur poo, it was really interesting. Did you know a T-Rex jaw is 5 feet long? They also has 60 serrated teeth! But that’s not half as scary as this bunch! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
