Today in maths we looked at fractions, we learned that a fraction is a part of a whole. The boys and girls found sticks and represented halves and whole fractions. We then played a game where we had to run to the hoops that represented the fraction Miss Hamilton said. We did very well with this! π
In class we used scales and other measuring tools to weigh our valentines rice! The boys and girls had a great time playing in the tuff tray and measuring the rice using the measuring tools.
