Today we learned to use code to make items move and disappear. We created a sunset scene where the sun set and went down. 🌅 When it happened, we made our characters disappear too.

Our previous Mearns Masters topic was campaigning to save the bees. Now, we are learning to code and make games! Today we used ScratchJr to create a racing game together and then we made our very own games.
We had lots of fun creating these games and developing our problem solving skills too!

In Maths we are all learning about measure. We have been learning how to use a ruler to measure items and draw lengths. We also learned about meters and had a go measuring larger items in our class with a meter stick and ordering measurements.

We created our very own beautiful poppy fields to think about all the soldiers who have fought in the war. We had lots of compliments about our art work and we hope you like them too! 😍

We have been learning about COP26 over the last 2 days as it is very topical right now. ♻️🧠 Yesterday we learned about COP itself as well as types of energy and what we can do to save energy. Today we read a story about the effects litter is having on our environment. We then wrote our own litter acrostic poems. Take a look at a few of our poems… ✍️👍
