During our phonics lesson this afternoon, the ladybirds group wrote amazing sentences on their whiteboards or scrap paper using some tricky words. Check out our amazing sentences! 🌟

We enjoyed our Eid party this afternoon. We learned about Eid and Ramadan a few weeks ago and made lovely cards. Today we continued this further and some of us who celebrated Eid shared what they did to celebrate.
We then played some party games and danced!

Today we started our mini topic on inventions and businesses. We found out about Alexander Graham Bell, the person who invented the phone.
We created a human telephone line to show how electrical waves send messages through a telephone line. We then looked at a variety of of phones and ordered them from new to old. We looked at pictures of different phones and how they’ve changed over time. We enjoyed using a cup and string telephone to speak to our friends

This morning we enjoyed developing our football and fitness skills in PE. We jumped over hurdles, passed a ball, did hoop ladder drills and dribbled a ball round cones.

As part of the RSHP lesson programme, today we learned about how to care for pets and what they need. We wrote our ideas down, drew them and also cared for our toy pets in class. At the end, we tired out our pets by taking them on a short walk.
