Alexander Graham Bell

Today we started our mini topic on inventions and businesses. We found out about Alexander Graham Bell, the person who invented the phone.
We created a human telephone line to show how electrical waves send messages through a telephone line. We then looked at a variety of of phones and ordered them from new to old. We looked at pictures of different phones and how they’ve changed over time. We enjoyed using a cup and string telephone to speak to our friends

Football Skills


This morning we enjoyed developing our football and fitness skills in PE. We jumped over hurdles, passed a ball, did hoop ladder drills and dribbled a ball round cones.

Looking after pets

As part of the RSHP lesson programme, today we learned about how to care for pets and what they need. We wrote our ideas down, drew them and also cared for our toy pets in class. At the end, we tired out our pets by taking them on a short walk.

In Maths, we have been learning of interpret a range of a data. On Wednesday we took part in a human Venn Diagram. Today we looked at a Carroll Diagram and we enjoyed having a competition to come up with as many of our own ideas andΒ answers for the set criteria.
