We hope you have all had a wonderful and relaxing summer holiday. We are delighted to welcome everyone back to nursery and are especially excited to welcome all of our\u00a0new children and families\u00a0who are joining us for the first time. We are looking forward to getting to know you and helping your little ones settle into nursery life.<\/p>\n

The beginning of a new term is always an exciting time, filled with new friendships, experiences, learning and lots of opportunities to explore and have fun together.<\/p>\n

The purpose of our blog is to give families a little window into nursery life and keep you up to date with the learning experiences your child is has on offer with us.<\/p>\n

Our blog will be\u00a0updated monthly\u00a0and will share some of the exciting things happening across the nursery, as well as helpful information and reminders for families.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\uddf8 Settling in and Starting Nursery<\/strong><\/p>\n

We understand that starting nursery or returning after the holidays can bring lots of different emotions for children and families. Please be assured that our team is here to support every child as they settle into their new routines.<\/p>\n

We will spend time getting to know each child, finding out about their interests and helping them to feel happy, safe and confident in their nursery environment.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcd6 Sharing Your Child\u2019s Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n

We love sharing the wonderful things your children do and learn with you. There are several ways you can see what your child has been getting up to at nursery\u2026<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcda Children\u2019s Journals<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your child\u2019s\u00a0learning journal\u00a0is a special record of their experiences, interests, achievements and development. We use observations, photographs and examples of their learning to capture those important moments and help you see how your child is progressing.<\/p>\n

We will send the journal home termly and we would encourage you to look through your child\u2019s journal with them and talk about their experiences. Your comments and contributions are also a lovely way to help us build a picture of your child\u2019s learning journey.<\/p>\n
