Welcome to a bumper blog this month due to the Spring break!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Mixing Colours and Mark Making<\/h3>\r\n

“It feels so nice, like ice- cream”<\/p>\r\n

“It’s\u00a0 cold and sticky”<\/p>\r\n

“Look at my hands! they’re white”\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

“I can write my name in it”<\/p>\r\n

“Can we add red paint?”<\/p>\r\n

Such lovely, language and conversation was had between all the children as they explored mixing colours and mark making in shaving foam.\u00a0 A good work out for little fingers \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\r\n

We have been having fun and creating some amazing models in the construction area. Some future Cross Arthurlie builders in the making.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Nurture Time\u00a0<\/h2>\r\n

At nurture time we decided to see who was the tallest and smallest in the group and even the same size. We also looked at who had the biggest feet and smallest feet and who had the biggest hand and smallest hand.<\/p>\r\n

WoodlandWalks \ud83c\udf33<\/h2>\r\n

All children in their preschool year have the opportunity to take part in our forrest walks.\u00a0 A few of the yellow children went along at the same time as Mrs McLean and she managed to get a few photos.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

We have learnt about our boundary markers, danger cards and sticky feet! The children should be able to explain these to you \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\r\n

We explored the woods, climbed trees and worked together to move large branches. The children have helped to make a swing and pick nettles for nettle tea.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
