Hello Yellow Group and welcome to Super September! πππ
What a busy month we have had. We have been exploring and developing our interest in woodland animals, had our first Eco Committee meeting, started our Tuesday library days and also welcomed parents/carers in for our first stay and play session.
Woodland Animals π¦π¦πΏοΈπ¦
We have enjoyed role playing with the woodland animals and we have had lots of fun making our own puppets.
We would love to build a woodland area and need your help. If you are out for a walk and see some small sticks , pine cones or leaves please collect some so we can add them our woodland area. Thank you from the yellow group.π
ECO Committee
We had our first eco committee meeting and some Primary 7 children visited to share their experiences of being part of the school eco-committee. As a group we have decided to make sure we always put our litter in the bin. This includes when we are in the lunch hall, the garden and out and about in the community.
Library π
Tuesdays are our day to visit the library in the family room.Β On a Tuesday we choose a new book for the week. When your child is finished with their book please return it to the yellow book box. Donβt worry if Tuesday is not your child’s day they will get a chance to pick a book another day. π
Stay and Play
Some of the parents Β and grandparents came to our first stay and play session of the year, we hope you had a wonderful time visiting the nursery. Keep an eye on the notice board for future days to visit.
Achievements
Well done to some Β of our yellow children for receiving a nursery award, we are so proud of you!
See you next month,
Love Mrs Mclean and Miss Miller
