In the nursery we have been developing our spectacular ability to enhance our knowledge and understanding through exciting new experiences.

The Red Group has been discovering the country they live in, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. We have begun to investigate the foods that originate here.

Our first make and taste session on Potato Scones πŸ₯”

We added three spoonfuls of mash potato ( boiling the potatoes would take far to long). One spoonful of flour and a half cup of water to the bowl.

Adding one spoonful of flour.

Β

Mix well together, until we get a ball of dough.

Waiting very patiently for the Potato Scone to be cooked.

Yummy! Yummy! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Milk anyone?

The children have been joining in with a variety of experiences at together time. Here are a few examples:

Developing fine motor skills and pencil control while attempting to write our names.
