The children have returned full of energy after their September break! This week they have asked to explore cooking, horses, the seasons as well as creating letters and pictures for friends and family they are not able to see at the moment. It looks like we all have a busy week ahead!
This week the children have chosen to continue exploring construction with an emphasis on planning and design. There are also a number of budding authors with stories being written and illustrated. Numbers continue to be popular and everything and anything is being counted!
The children have been busier than ever this week! The story of The Three Little Pigs has led to a flurry of excitement and the children have been designing, building and testing houses while exploring the properties of materials.
There has also been a lot of talk about numbers and counting to 5, the children have been keen to find and recreate numbers in many different ways.

This week so far the children have investigated a crime scene, designed and made kites, explored music from around the world, made slime and gone on a hunt for magnetic materials.
