This week the children have been exploring fireworks, rockets, space, magnets and different shapes. I wonder what the rest of the week will bring?
Morning Fun
What did you do at nursery today?
Even though times may feel tougher at the moment, especially with the physical distance between the nursery and home, our wonderful children continue to enjoy just another typical day at nursery – one filled with fun, laughter and learning.
Keeping your child safe is our number one priority, and since we are unable to invite you in, we decided to create a little video clip of ‘just another typical day’ at Mearns Nursery to reassure you that wellbeing and learning through play remain our focus.
Please don’t hesitate to comment on any of our blog posts, or to send in photos of achievements and learning at home that you would like us to post.
We value your involvement in your child’s learning journey and aim to continue to build the strong partnerships between home and nursery that we have established over the years.
Pumpkin Parade
The children brought in pumpkins they had carved at home with their families.
What a talented bunch!
Change of Clothes
Now that the weather has taken a rainier turn can we remind all families to please send at least one change of clothing into nursery each day.
Puddles are just too much fun to resist!
Thank you
Planning
This week the children have been exploring mini beasts, writing stories, developing their fine motor skills and playing in many different ways with pumpkins!
