Give this website a go and create your own Jackson Pollock masterpiece!
Hello Everyone!
Just a wee reminder that our new Google Classroom will start on Monday, we are so looking forward to welcoming you, exploring new topics and activities as well as having the opportunity to see the many different ways you are all learning at home.
See you on Monday!
Sophia and her little sister Olivia had a very fun morning doing lots of dancing! Here is a wee clip of Sophia’s favourite, See the Bunnies Sleeping.
Let’s have a look at coins today!
Ask an adult if they can show you some coins that they have at home.
If you do not have any, look at the picture below.
Look at the shape of the coins. Do you notice any differences?
Look at the colours of the coins. Are they all the same?
Challenge! Can you place the coins in piles of the same colour?
Now draw your very own coins! If you have real coins, you can try drawing around the coins with your pencil. Draw as many coins as you can.
Have fun!
We are surrounded by lots of different faces every day, today we are going to have a close look at our own faces and those of people in our families and then we are going to have a shot at drawing them!
Activities
Take a look in the mirror and name all the different parts of your face that you can see.
Look at the faces of the people in your family, in what ways do they look the same and in what ways do they look different?
Make faces using different natural materials.
Using playdough create faces with different facial expressions.
Draw the face of someone in your family.
