Let’s have a look at coins today!

Ask an adult if they can show you some coins that they have at home.

If you do not have any, look at the picture below.

Look at the shape of the coins. Do you notice any differences?

Look at the colours of the coins. Are they all the same?

Challenge! Can you place the coins in piles of the same colour?

Now draw your very own coins! If you have real coins, you can try drawing around the coins with your pencil. Draw as many coins as you can.

Have fun!

Financial Education

In our task today, we are going to think about how to keep money safe.

We must look after our money and keep it safe so that we do not lose it.

Think about the different places that adults and children like you can keep money safe.

Adults often use a purse or a wallet to keep their money in.

Children sometimes keep money safe in a piggy bank or a money box.

Can you think of a place in your home where money is kept safe?

Draw a picture of this safe place.

Have fun drawing!
