Some of the children challenged Mrs Sobocinski to a game of football this morning!
Mrs Sobocinski’s career as a goal keeper was not glittering and was remarkably brief! The children however showed impressive dribbling and passing skills and many goals were scored.

Since we have returned to nursery the children have had great fun designing and building a variety of vehicles from racing cars to pirate ships, here are a few of our favourites so far
This week so far the children have investigated a crime scene, designed and made kites, explored music from around the world, made slime and gone on a hunt for magnetic materials.
I wonder what the rest of the week will bring?

The children love playing with different malleable materials and especially play dough. To make the experience more fun they often add different textures and scents.
Yesterday the children planted an indoor herb garden.
These herbs will be used to enhance sensory play through their addition to play dough and children will also get the chance to taste some of them in herbal tisanes and through cooking.
We are are also looking forward to caring for our herbs and watching them grow.
