Fabulous Fun!
Violet made a cake shop this week and was selling her cakes. She also made pizzas with her brother with lots of toppings. Violet has been loving her colouring and reading this week and enjoyed doing some Science experiments.

Materials – Part 2
We know that there are lots of different types of materials and we were looking for some of them around our homes last week. Today we are going to think more about the properties of materials and what they can be used for.
Activities
Look at the picture above, how many different types of material can you see?
Why are plastic and wood good for making adventure trails?
Watch this clip about the properties of materials.
Now set up your own experiment to see which of the following materials are waterproof:
- Paper – paper towel
- Plastic – cling film
- Metal – tin foil
Once you have found out which material/s are waterproof, use one and some recycled materials to make an umbrella for one of your toys.
Wednesday’s Challenge
So Much Fun!
Emily has been getting very creative at home. From modelling with playdoh to making marshmallow cakes. Well done!
