This Morning
Bees
We have a giant Sedum in the nursery playground which has been covered in bees over the last few weeks.
The children love counting them and one sunny day we found 24 on it at the one time. Even on a rainy day like today we found 5.
The children have enjoyed looking at them under magnifying glasses and learning all about them.
They have used great vocabulary to describe them with words like: fuzzy, stripey, busy, hairy, fast and many more.
We are looking forward to learning more about the bees and following their adventures!
Planning
This week we have been exploring different building materials, bees, Old Mother Hubbard and many many more things.
As always any planning  suggestions can be posted in the comments or shared with a member  of staff.
Busy Builders
Today in the nursery we have been busy building lots of different things. We created tall towers, sandcastles, towns, pirate ships and trampolines to name only a few!
We will be the architects, engineers, designers and builders of the future.
