We were very lucky to see the Nursery Nativity. They were very good and knew all their songs and words. We hope we are as good as them next week! 🤞😁

Nativity costumes
We hope everyone is succeeding in finding costumes for our Nativity in two weeks. This can be any animal from a nativity scene. Some parents have kindly shared where they have found their costumes so if you need any suggestions we are happy to help. 👍
Music
We love going to the music room! Today we were pretending to be frogs and hopped along to different beats. We also had the opportunity to play a range of instruments including tambours, maracas, claves, triangles and two-tone woodblocks. It was great fun!
Making our Reindeer Jars
We are busy this week making our Reindeer Jars. We are doing a little group at a time. We will put the reindeer food in at the end of the week.
Reindeer Jars
A special thank you to everyone who handed in jars to be used for our Christmas Fayre craft. Every child now has one so we can begin making our reindeer jars. We are looking forward to selling them at the school Christmas Fayre on Saturday, 1st December. The Fayre is open from 12pm till 3pm.
Christmas Fayre
On the 1st December, Mearns Primary will host our annual Christmas fayre. For this, our class are going to make these amazing reindeer jars filled with reindeer dust, perfect to scatter on Christmas Eve! Please help us by sending in any spare glass jars over the next week (jam jar size) and once we have enough for each child we can begin our crafting.
Thank you ☺
