We have been looking at 2D shapes this week. We have been making patterns with them;monsters and colouring luring our shapes, following a key. We are all at different levels, but we all work to the best of our ability.

Autumnal Outdoor Learning
We Re. Ontinuing to learn about nature with our outdoor walks. It is amazing the different things that the children think of! There is so much discussion to be had and we love looking at our “treasure” under the digital microscope.
Phonics at Home and School
Every child has been given sound cards to use at home. These cards can be cut up. Try to ask your child for the sound of the letter. When they are confident, you can then put three letters together to make words for them to sound out. You can also use the whiteboard to write the words. When reading stories, see if your child can recognise sounds or three letter words.
We are learning to use these sounds and words in class in lots of different activities.
