Thank you to everyone who made a huge effort to get their children to school on time on Tuesday, when the snow appeared out of nowhere! The snow at Mearns is usually deeper than elsewhere and all the staff at the school make an effort to ensure that the children are safe in school. An older child walks safely to their playground.The janitors are always out very early to ensure the safety of our children coming in to school.We change out of our wellies and snow boots in class. They are lovely and warm when we put them back on. Mrs Arbuckle puts the heater on early to make certain the class is lovely and warm when we arrive.
