As part of our   “Castles” topic, the children wanted to learn about Kings and Queens.  We looked at the lives of Queen Elizabeth I , Mary Queen of Scots , Henry the Eighth and our present Queen.  They had some fascinating stories to tell.  Jessica had been to visit Henry the Eighth’s ship, ” The Marie Rose”.

We looked at our Queen’s Coronation and how scary that day must have been. The crown looked really heavy.

We made our own crowns and paraded through the school, giving everyone our Royal Waves!
