We had visitors from the science centre telling us all about the journey food makes through our body. It goes through lots of parts of our body including our small intestine…which is 6 metres long!

We braved the rain and completed our daily mile today doing a variety of movements from slow motion to dinosaur walks to sideways to swimming.
We also did some step up balloon dancing in class. 🎶👣🎈
On Friday Mrs Jamil spent the day with us in school. She gave us a presentation on renewable energies as well as talking about how engineers all over the world work to make a difference to our lives. She talked too about how important Science and Maths are and how we should all work hard in these subjects in school.
After the presentation she came round each class and we got a chance to learn about designing, building and testing a wind turbine. We had a marvellous day and really appreciate Mrs Jamil spending her day with us, encouraging us to investigate, design and create just like real engineers.
Here are some pictures of us, future engineers in the making.
Here are some pictures of our exciting day yesterday when we learned all about becoming plastic clever. Â We were inspired by how amazing the pupils from up the school were, they really know their stuff and gave us great information. Thank you.
well done to everyone involved in today’s assembly all about the school value CREATIVE.
We all did really well showing everyone in the school how excited we are about our hopes for our futures in a whole array of creative careers.
