We were lucky to welcome Mrs Gordon into our class to lead us in creating brilliant necklaces as part of our technology topic. First we designed a necklace using different styles of beads featuring a repeating pattern and then we had the opportunity to make the beads and construct our necklaces.

Last week we had a visit from one of the Campus Police Officers to talk to us about keeping safe and how to respond if approached by a stranger. We learned who to talk to if we needed help in an emergency.

This morning we had a visitor who came to tell us all about money. We explored the different coins and talked about the introduction of the new £1 coin. Then we talked about the cost of different items and the importance of saving.

Today the minister came to talk to us about the Bible and to tell us about some of the stories that it contains, including the story of Jericho and the walls being brought down. We had loads of interesting questions that we asked and we enjoyed the video clip that she shared with us.
