Today we went outdoors to explore materials in the environment. We spotted a number of materials and sorted them into two categories, natural and man made.
We were delighted with our findings.

Mascot Challenge

Science Investigation
Today we were learning to investigate balanced forces.
We designed and built boats using a range of materials.
We investigated why they did or didn’t float.
It was very interesting.
Nurse Visit
Today we were visited by a pediatric nurse, Tamara. She looks after sick children in hospital.
She demonstrated how to put a bandage on and we had the opportunity to practise on each other. She also brought a range of medication for us to look at and we identified what the different types of medicines are used for. We had great fun whilst learning.
