Speed book discussion!
First we arranged our seats into two circles, an inner circle and an outer circle.
Next we took our seats.
We were given two minutes each to discuss our favourite book with our partner before we were asked to move round. It was so much fun sharing our thoughts and hearing about a range of books. We’re looking forward to reading some of the books that we heard about today.
Watch us in action 🙂
We went outdoors to explore the properties of different materials to make a house.
We made a house with straw, sticks and bricks.
Listening to instructions carefully..
All set to go..
Wooo, here goes..
I hope I’ve not missed anyone out!
Thank you for your kind donations for our sponsored obstacle course. All proceeds will go towards Mearns Masters – an upcoming redesign of our curriculum.
A rather strange happened in Primary 2.6 today. First thing this morning we received this letter from the aliens of Planet ZimZim…
We had to take action and decided the best way to communicate with them would be by writing them letters.
We wrote letters to persuade the friendly aliens to give us back our school!
We thought carefully about reasons why we need our school back and included persuasive vocabulary to make our letters excellent.
