This is PC Moffat, our Campus Officer. He came to talk to Primary One about strangers and some of the dangers they may pose.
He told us three steps to take when faced with a stranger:
RUN, YELL & TELL!
- Run away.
- Yell ‘Stranger Danger’ as loud as you can.
- Tell someone you trust; it could be a parent, teacher, police officer or coach.
He also told us about a secret password system. You and your parents create a secret password. If anybody other than your parent comes to collect you, they have to tell you the secret password before you go with them.
Be aware of ‘Stranger Danger’ and stay safe!
