During outdoor learning, we went a walk around the school grounds looking for signs of Autumn. After our walk, we collected leaves, twigs and stones to create a picture. Two groups made a birds nest and one group made a tree.
Sentences
During our phonics time today, we had a go at writing a sentence on our whiteboards.
Our sentence was; A man had a red hat.
We did really well!
MACMILLAN coffee morning
Thank you very much for your kind donations this morning. We had a wide variety of cakes and treats on offer which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Our leftovers will be sold at tuck shop tomorrow, raising more money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Phonics fun!
We are becoming a lot more confident in identifying different sounds. We are focusing on making and writing words which include the sounds we have learned.
Jingles the Jester
Jingles the Jester visited p1.2 and made our classroom very messy. He needs us to help him learn how to behave properly. If we help him, he is going to leave us fun riddles and rhymes to explore every week which we are really excited about! We are hoping he is a little tidier on his next visit…
