The children have just come to the end of their Art block. They have had a fantastic time and developed new skills. Here they are working on their Easter eggs.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their VR experience today. Using the VR equipment we looked at the skies. We went to the Moon and then to Mars. Finally, we went under the sea! The children loved seeing all of the pictures.
Today we extended our learning about measuring and took the trundle wheels out onto the pitch. The children enjoyed walking around and counting the clicks. We know that every click represents one metre.
The children have been learning about measuring using standard units. We have been focusing on centimetres and metres. Our first task was to work in a pair to measure items in the playground using either a metre stick or a measuring tape. After we had measured various items we met in the Outdoor Classroom to discuss our results.
