Just a note to let you know that the children will be receiving some football training on a Tuesday afternoon. It would be helpful if they could bring their gym kit on a Tuesday until the end of February. I am sure we will all have lots of fun and will learn some new skills.

Burns House Challenge
Well done to Miriam and Lois for their success in the Stage Competition. They will go on to represent P2 on Friday. Good luck!
House Challenge
We have had our class competition and have now chosen our representatives for each house. The following pupils will go ahead and perform with the other P2 winners so that an individual winner can be chosen for each house from P2. These five representatives will perform at school level. Good luck to all!
Well done to
Adam M who will represent Beech
Lewis who will represent Cedar
Lois who will represent Oak
Miriam who will represent Poplar and to
Adam L who will represent Maple.
We have all worked hard learning our poems and we have a good variety being represented at the Stage Final.
A Snowy Day
Mrs Hunter issued a whole school snow challenge. P2.5 had great fun working together to build their snowman. Mrs Monie was invaluable as creative director. Excellent teambuilding skills and lots of fun!!
Waterstones
The children enjoyed their visit to Waterstones. We learned a new word – ‘genre’ and we found out how to find books in the Children’s Section.
