Today we used mirrors and worked independently to identify symmetrical images. We were very successful during this task.

sunflowers
What better way to brighten up our classroom on a dull, cold day than with these beautiful sunflowers!
Xmas Fayre
P1.2 have started planning for the Christmas Fayre. Today we collated different suggestions for our company name and voted for our favourite one. We now need your help. If you have any empty jars (with a similar shape to those pictured below) they would be greatly appreciated. We have still to vote on what we are making but here are a few ideas we are going to consider.
Thanks in anticipation,
Miss O’Neil
SNOW PHONICS
Today we didn’t need pencil and paper, we had rulers and the snow! We wrote the different sounds we have learned so far and also tried some words. We loved Literacy today!
light energy
During our Science lesson, we were learning about light energy. Using the leap pads, we took pictures of light sources around the school and drew light sources in our jotters. We also visited the science room where we were investigating the different objects which light could pass through. We really enjoyed using the torches!
